Quick baby bibs / Bavoirs express

It's been a while!

Yep, I've been pretty busy this last couple of months, what with having a baby and all that! The baby is a boy and I can't believe he's already 2 months old and already beginning to sleep through the night! Well done champ!

Before he was even born, I couldn't resist making a few bibs for him with a pattern I found on Pinterest called the 30 minute bib. Be careful if you want to make one though. I had to enlarge the part that goes around the baby's head because when I used the pattern as it is, it took me forever to turn the bib inside out after sewing. I thought I'd never manage to do it and found lots of more appropriate names for this tutorial, like "the 30 hours bib" or "the I'll die before I can finish it bib".
But once you enlarge that bit, it's okay and really takes 30 minutes!

Il faut dire aussi que j'ai été pas mal occupée, entre l'accouchement, le bébé, toussa ! À propos du bébé, c'est un garçon, et j'ai du mal à réaliser qu'il a déjà 2 mois et commence même à faire ses nuits ! Bien joué bébé !

Avant même qu'il naisse, je n'ai pas pu résister à l'appel du bavoir et je lui en ai fait 4 avec un patron trouvé sur Pinterest et qui s'appelle the 30 minute bib, c'est-à-dire, le "bavoir en 30 minutes". Attention si vous voulez en faire un aussi ! J'ai dû élargir la partie que l'on passe autour du cou du bébé parce que quand j'ai utilisé le patron tel quel, ça m'a pris des plombes pour le retourner sur l'endroit après l'avoir cousu. J'ai cru que je n'allais jamais y arriver, et j'ai même renommé le tutoriel avec des noms plus appropriés, comme le "bavoir en 30 heures" ou le "bavoir que je n'arriverai pas à finir avant de mourir" !
Mais une fois qu'on élargit cette partie, tout roule et ça prend vraiment 30 minutes !
