Sock collection 3

My previous post showed all my pre-Summer socks but now that Autumn is upon us, it's high time I present to you my Summer collection!  Mon message précédent montrait toutes mes chaussettes d'avant l'été, mais vu qu'on est en automne, il est grand temps que je vous présente ma collection d'été ! Nutkin socks by Beth LaPensee: a great and easy-to-remember pattern, you practically don't need the instructions! The only thing I'm not too sure about is the cuff with its fold-over edge. So I decided to buy another skein in a contrasting colour to knit a shawl and I chose "pop rocks" (bright pink). After debating which shawl to make for a... [Lire la suite]

Liam's Hyphen cardigan/Gilet Hyphen pour Liam

Here is a little something I've knitted for my baby boy. First, a little background story… I have this huge stash of acrylic blend yarn that I've bought along the years to knit stuff for my kids. Now that I've discovered the pure joy of wearing merinos wool, I don't want to use acrylic for my garments, but it's quite handy for the kids: you can wash it in the washing machine and it will last long in spite of the ill treatment.I have finally decided it is high time to use my stash, partly because it takes a lot of room, partly because...
